On the 19th May 2018, the Parish Council organised a party in the village hall to celebrate the wedding on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The village hall was decorated the floral bunting and Union Jack flags and looked very pretty. Parishioners were treated to a cream tea and invited to raise a glass of prosecco to toast the newly weds after the ceremony which was shown live on a big screen.

Afterwards, many stayed to enjoy picnics on the green behind the village hall and make the most of the fabulous weather.

It was a wonderful day and lovely to see such a large number of parish residents come together for the celebration.
